Officials in Spencer County have a mystery on their hands after the discovery of bones on Sunday.

Someone found the remains off Mill Road, near Taylorsville.

Police say they don't know yet know if the bones are from a human or an animal but say articles of women's clothing were found nearby.

The remains have been taken to the state lab for testing.
