It's being called "a disturbing sign for the future of inkjet."
Best Buy is reportedly no longer selling Lexmark printers in its more than 1200 stores. Industry insiders told the Lexington Herald-Leader the decision is a blow to Lexeme's plan to revive its struggling inkjet brand.
However, the Lexington-based company's first-quarter earnings may be better than expected, when they're released Tuesday.
The boost could be short term because it is tied to the slumping sales of inkjet printers, that are often sold at a loss.
