Police: SUV failed to stop at red light, causing crash that injured 2

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - An investigation is underway into a crash that sent two people to the hospital Friday.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of the U.S. 150 Bypass and Southtown Drive in Danville.

Police say a Dodge Durango ran a red light, and hit the driver's side of a Mazda car.

The driver of the Mazda was flown to UK Hospital, but his condition is not known.

Police say the driver of the Durango went to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville with unknown injuries.
