Updated: Sat 9:17 PM, Nov 17, 2012

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man had to be airlifted to the hospital Saturday night after police say his vehicle flipped off a road.

The crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Pitch Fork Road in Pulaski County, around 15 miles north of Somerset.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Bruce S. Hopkins, Jr., of Eubank, lost control, causing his 2000 Ford to hit an embankment and a tree, before landing on its top.

Investigators say Hopkins was flown to UK Hospital from the scene.

His condition has not been released.
