Threats of violence at a Clark County school sent hundreds of students home in a hurry on Monday.
Officials at George Rogers Clark High School tell 27 NEWSFIRST the threat stemmed from an off campus fight from the weekend.
A text message sent from a student inside the building told a parent students were bringing guns and knives to school. Superintendent Ed Musgrove says the text message quickly spread and parents began to flood the school.
An immediate search was conducted of the building, but no weapons were found. At this time, the school has not said whether disciplinary action will be taken.
