A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
An eastern Kentucky coal truck driver is dead after he was hit and killed by his own vehicle.
It happened Monday night just after nine.
Police say 42-year old Kenneth Mounts parked his truck on the shoulder of U.S. 119 in the Buckley's Creek area of Pike County.
Police say he then got out of this truck, but then it started to roll. Mounts reportedly tried to jump back into the cab to put on the breaks, but instead he fell, was hit and eventually pinned by the truck.
Mounts was pronounced dead at the scene. Kentucky State Police continue to investigate.
