Firefighters found a meth lab while putting out flames at a building in a popular area of Louisville. Now, police are trying to find the person responsible.
The fire started early Wednesday morning underneath Spindletop Draperies on Bardstown Road, in the Highlands area.
Firefighters uncovered the meth-making chemicals in a gallon jug.
People who live in the area say they're shocked someone was making meth in the well-known, trendy neighborhood.
"I was really surprised by the meth lab here on Bardstown road, this close to all the buildings and restaurants and things," said Ben Gabehart who lives in the area.
Police say they do have a suspect in the case.
