Missing Alzheimer's Patient Found Safe

Missing Alzheimer's patient, Elaine Hall

After hours of searching, a missing Alzheimer's patient from Lexington has been found safe.

Police say Elaine Hall, 77, was last seen at her home on Majestic View Walk Wednesday night.

Majestic View Walk is near Sandersville Road area in Masterson Station.

Police called out dogs and a helicopter to help with the search,

Hall was found just after 11:00 Thursday morning.

Joe Hinchman says he and his wife noticed the police presence and went to wkyt.com to see what it was all about. They say Hall's picture and read the story of her search.

Hinchman says with in a minute, there was a knock on the door and he had a feeling it was her. It was indeed. He says she introduced herself and he offered her a drink of water while his wife called 911.

She reportedly spent part of the night in a van parked in his driveway.

Family members say Hall moved to Lexington from Colorado four years ago. They were afraid for a time that she may have received a ride from someone.
