Ky. woman who was missing found dead in car wreck

SALEM, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say an 88-year-old western Kentucky woman who was reported missing has been found dead inside a car that went down into a ravine.

Police say the vehicle was discovered Tuesday morning on Kentucky 838 in Livingston County at a location that isn't visible from the road.

The coroner told police that Mildred L. Croft of Salem had medical issues and apparently had a massive heart attack, causing the collision.

Police had been trying to find Croft, who hadn't been seen since Monday evening.
