Armed man robs Kenton County convenience store with child inside

TAYLOR MILL, Ky. (WKYT) - An armed robbery at a Kenton County convenience store was caught on surveillance video.

The robbery happened at The Grocery Bag in Taylor Mill.

The video shows a man armed with a gun bursting into the store and demanding money from the clerk, and the store's owner.

A child was inside the store playing just a few feet away from the robbery.

The store's owner calls the experience a nightmare.

"It was too scary. I am still shaking right now," store owner Satish Patel said.

Taylor Mill Police say a gas station just down the road was also robbed a gunpoint recently.

They say both robberies could be connected.

Police have not made any arrests.
