Four Kentucky Football Standouts Taken In NFL Draft

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Four football players with Kentucky ties were taken early on the second day of the NFL draft.

The Houston Texans selected Eastern Kentucky University defensive back Antwaun Molden in the third round, with the 79th overall pick.

Five choices later, the Atlanta Falcolns took Louisville wide receiver Harry Douglas with the 84th overall pick.

Kentucky tight end Jacob Tamme went to the Indianapolis Colts in the 4th round, with the 127th overall pick. His Wildcats teammate, wide receiver Keenan Burton, went next to the St. Louis Rams with the 128th overall pick.

The Green Bay Packers made Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm the first Kentucky-based player taken in the draft.

The packers selected Brohm with the 56th pick, making him the third quarterback taken in the NFL draft.
