The cold front is now working into eastern Kentucky with winds gusting to near 40mph at times. Temps have dropped into the 30s behind the front and we've had reports of sleet and snow mixing with the rain in Lexington.
Much of a Scott County home is in ruins, after a fire Tuesday evening.
The flames broke out just before 6 at the Randall's home on Anderson Road, north of Georgetown.
When firefighters got to the scene, they saw smoke and flames shooting out of the second floor of the home. It was determined the fire started in a bedroom near the bed, but investigators say they may never know exactly what caused it.
Dustin Walls grew up in the home with his parents and 5 brothers and sisters. He says they lost all the memories, but hope to re-build in the exact same spot.
