LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Thanks to a tip, the Laurel County Sheriff's Office says they've been able to identify the man they say robbed an East Bernstadt convenience store.
Deputies have identified the suspect as 33-year-old Christopher Disney, of Sam Parker Road in Knox County.
Investigators say they've found the gun used in the robbery, but Disney is still on the run.
The robbery happened Wednesday night at the A & B Quick Stop on Highway 3434.
Police say Disney pointed a gun at the clerk, stole some money, then jumped in a getaway car and took off.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says warrants are pending on Disney, charging him with robbery.
Police say Disney should be considered armed and dangerous.
