Kentucky's former Mister Basketball Chris Lofton has revealed to espn.com that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the end of his junior season.
It was discovered after Lofton was picked for a random drug test by the NCAA following their first round game last year.
Lofton has apparently beaten the cancer. He went through radiation and treatment for more than a month.
Lofton says that he is now cancer free but will undergo regular checkups for the rest of his life.
