The cleanup at an upscale Lexington home, once infested with rats, is nearly finished.
The Fayette County Health Department took charge of cleaning the home in the Andover Hill neighborhood since the rats were discovered last fall.
Now, health department officials say their work will be finished Friday.
All trash inside the home has been removed, and no rats have been found since December.
The home is still condemned. Code enforcement officials must give their approval before someone can live there again.
