GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have released new information about a woman they say is stealing from shoppers.

Georgetown Police now say the woman stole a credit card from a shopper's purse at the Kroger Marketplace in Georgetown, then spent $4,000 on the card.

Lexington Police think the same woman also stole credit cards from shoppers at three Krogers, and a TJ Maxx in Lexington. In those cases, police say the woman spent $12,000 on the stolen cards.

As WKYT first reported last week, police think this woman is also working with an accomplice, who distracts the victims during the thefts.

So far, police have not made any arrests.
