Truck flips off Lexington road; police say wintry weather played role

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say the snow played a role in at least one crash in Lexington Friday night.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on Spurr Road, near Georgetown Road.

Lexington Police say the driver of a truck was driving too fast for the conditions. The truck then lost traction on the wet road, rolled off the road, and ended up flipping into a ditch.

Police say the driver was wearing a seat belt.

Police say he was not injured.
