A northern Kentucky teenager, killed in a school bus crash last week, will be laid to rest on Monday.

A private burial is planned for 16-year-old Daniel Wood. Hundreds of people gathered in Falmouth on Saturday for his funeral.

Investigators say the Pendleton County High School sophomore died instantly from head trauma, when a truck hit the school bus he was riding on last Thursday morning on Highway 22.

His parents are suing the trucking company, alleging negligence.
