Craigslist helps theft victim find stolen golf clubs

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A UK student whose golf clubs were stolen from his car, has found them, thanks to Craigslist.

Thomas Sims' father tells WKYT his son saw a Craigslist advertisement, featuring the golf clubs, last weekend.

In November, WKYT aired surveillance video of the suspects in the theft.

The golf clubs were stolen from Sims' car at an apartment complex on South Broadway.

After seeing the Craigslist post, Sims called Lexington Police, who helped him recover the clubs.

Police say they've arrested a teenager for the theft.
