Junction City volunteer firefighter arrested on DUI charge

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A volunteer firefighter faces charges after police say he caused a crash while driving drunk.

Danville Police arrested 20-year-old Davis Brown after the crash on West Broadway Street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police say Brown is a volunteer firefighter with the Junction City Fire Department.

Police say he was driving his personal SUV, which had emergency lights that were turned on, when he hit two parked cars.

They say Brown was wearing some firefighter gear at the time. Police have charged him with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
