A plane is back in the air after a few tense moments at Blue Grass Airport.
Several emergency crews were called to the airport around 9:00 A.M. after a plane that took off, reported problems with the gear and had to turn around.
The plane loaded with more than 50 passengers and crew members was headed for Charlotte, but after experiencing problems with the wing flaps it had to come back to Blue Grass Airport.
The plan landed safely, but one passenger refused to get on back on the plane after the landing.
He said the plane was late taking off because the pilot had not completed his 13 hours of off time before being able to legally fly again. Once the plane was forced to land because of mechanical problems, he said he had had enough.
The plane did take off again safely, headed for its final destination.
