Parts of U.S. 60 to be repaved in Fayette and Woodford Counties

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A heavily traveled central Kentucky road is about to get a makeover.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced parts of U.S. 60 in Fayette and Woodford Counties will be repaved this year.

The first project will repave a stretch between the Franklin County line and Versailles. That project is scheduled to be finished by October 31.

The second project will repave the stretch between the Blue Grass Parkway and New Circle Road. That project is scheduled to be finished by December 1.

The two projects combined cover more than 13 miles of U.S. 60. A start date for both projects was not announced.
