It was a scary morning on the job for a Lexington hotel clerk who was robbed on the job.

Police responded to the Holiday Inn Express on Elkhorn Road off Winchester Road around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black ski mask and may have had a handgun covered up.

The robber may have gotten away in a car parked in the area.
