LOUISVILLE, KY -- After years of being either taken for granted or ignored, the campaign for the Democratic nomination for president in Kentucky kicks into high gear Monday, as the two major contenders scramble for every vote.

Sen. Barack Obama's campaign said Saturday he'll be in Louisville for a rally Monday at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The rally is free and open to the public and begins at 7 p.m. -- doors will open two hours earlier. A campaign news release indicates Obama plans to "continue his campaign in Kentucky" after Louisville, but there were no details on when or where.

Tickets are not mandatory but campaign officials recommend people interested in attending R.S.V.P. at www.barackobama.com.

Hillary Clinton, her husband former President Bill Clinton, and their daughter Chelsea have made several trips to the commonwealth already and have said they plan future appearances in the Bluegrass State.

You won’t hear anything more about Rev Wright, when the Hagee/Parsley ads hit the media waves! Talk about LUNACY, and McCain publicly introduced Parsley as his “spiritual guide”. If Americans want out of the war in Iraq, they won’t be able to vote for McCain in November. This is why McCain wants to stay in Iraq: In a chapter titled “Islam: The Deception of Allah,” Parsley warns there is a “war between Islam and Christian civilization.” He continues: I cannot tell you how important it is that we understand the true nature of Islam, that we see it for what it really is. In fact, I will tell you this: I do not believe our country can truly fulfill its divine purpose until we understand our historical conflict with Islam. I know that this statement sounds extreme, but I do not shrink from its implications. The fact is that America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed, and I believe September 11, 2001, was a generational call to arms that

You're wright Deward. The more I know about Obama the more I dislike his brand of politics and his selection of friends. Perhaps you shud urge folks to not learn more about Obama, less is more in his case. Oh, and need I mention the lovely Michelle.

Well, I hope people will consider one thing when considering Obama for president, it's not the color of his skin that makes for a either a good or bad president, although color is key! The colors that need to be foremost on everybody's mind come election day are- red, white and blue. Now, we know enough to know that his closest friends are Louis Farrakahn and his now denounced pastor, both anti-american, terrosist sympathizers. I think red, white and blue got to be the colors of importance here-don't you?
