Monday night a busy Lexington road looked more like a rushing river, after a car ran over a fire hydrant.

The crash happened just before 9:00 tonight on Sir Barton Way and Carducci, near Hamburg Pavilion. All four lanes of Sir Barton were closed at one point.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST, a driver had a seizure, which caused him to run off the road. Witnesses say there was so much water gushing out of the hydrant the ground rumbled beneath them.
