Man killed, officer injured, in Hardin County shooting

RADCLIFF, Ky. (WKYT) - An investigation is underway into a shooting that left a man dead and a police officer injured.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday in Radcliff, which is in Hardin County.

Police say officers were trying to interview a burglary suspect at his home, when he suddenly grabbed a gun and started firing.

Police say an officer was hit in the ankle, but was not seriously injured.

Police say the suspect in the case was killed.
