A sex offender wanted out of Indiana has been arrested in Lexington.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Andrew Scott Cotton on Loudon Avenue.
Cotton had been on the run from Brazil, Indiana since August of last year. He was convicted in 2002 for child molestation.
Police say Cotton had been hiding out in the Lexington area for the past several months, staying at local hotels and homeless shelters.
