Alcohol Not A Factor In Pendleton Bus Crash

Alcohol has now been ruled out as a factor in a deadly school bus crash in Pendleton County.

The Pendleton County Sheriff told 27NEWSFIRST both drivers involved tested negative for alcohol. Investigators are still waiting on drug tests and accident reconstruction results.

On May 1st, dump truck collided with a school bus on a winding road. Daniel Wood, 16, was killed. So far, no charges have been filed in the case, but Wood's parents have filed a lawsuit against the trucking company.
