A pickup truck rammed into a home on Russell Cave Road Thursday night. The driver says he lost control of the vehicle when trying to round a dangerous curve.
The homeowner, Marsha Vaughn says she's not surprised by the crash. "I've lived here seven years; we've had about ten incidents when someone drove through the fence and into the yard.”
Vaughn says people just underestimate the sharpness of the curve in front of her home, "Every time it rains or snows, that curve gets them.”
She says she hopes road officials will do something to make people aware of the danger about the stretch of road in front of her home. If not, she fears she'll continue to have people driving through her fence, and into her home.
