K-9 Killed In Crash Proves Difficult To Replace

The search for a replacement for a Bell County K-9, killed in the line of duty,is taking longer than first thought.

A teenager is accused of ramming his car into deputy Sean Pursifell's cruiser last January, during a chase. The crash killed Pursifull and his K-9 partner "King."

The sheriff's department is now looking for another K-9, but the Middlesboro Daily News reports the department can't find a good enough replacement for King.
