It's been a busy weekend for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Clinton will be making several more stops across the state Monday leading up to Tuesdays primary.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will be campaigning in the bluegrass as well, but Barack Obama's campaign will be represented, as well.

Obama's wife, Michelle Obama, will be attending three events on Monday in Hopkinsville, Louisville and Lexington.

On Monday, Hillary Clinton will be attending events in Maysville, Prestonsburg, Lexington and Louisville.

Also on Monday, President Bill Clinton will be attending events in Grayson, Mt. Sterling, Richmond, and Danville. He will then be joining his wife for events in Lexington and Louisville.

On election night, Hillary Clinton will be in Louisville watching the results come in. She is expected to win Kentucky.

Senator Barack Obama will be spending Tuesday night in Iowa.

The more I read these posts, the more I can't wait until McCain is elected! :)

JC, did you write that or cut and paste off of some anti-Obama website? I wonder, since the website address is not even correct. I am white, I found the church website, and I am not offended or scared. Wright is far from the only preacher, white or black, that ever said anything hateful. I find Pat Robertson offensive. Does that mean every politician he has ever associated with should sever ties with him and others of his ilk? The thing that scares me the most about this election is that it has shown how truly racist and sexist Americans still are. And Chrissy, I guess you never saw the Obama ad with his white mother! Funny how you say the Clinton era was "me, me, me," and your post is really just saying "me, me, me."

Ghetto Boy: Sorry to hear you are not doing too well, I hope you haven't over extended yourself on a home loan or something. I can see there is no use in talking with you as to how the Government DOES NOT AND WILL NOT CONTROL GAS PRICES! If you believe the PRESIDENT can control the price of gas you are wrong. It is a free market commodity and is traded throughout the world, which means that if we don't pay the price that is being asked on the open market then some other country will pay it. It is called SUPPLY & DEMAND. End of story. As far as the Democratic Party goes, I see them as a bunch of TAX and SPEND sorry a****! I will not EVER vote for anyone who is advocating raising my TAXES! I am not into the whole re-distribution of wealth that the Democrats are so in favor of. As far as Hillary goes the Clinton era was the epitome of fraud, decitfullness and me,me,me. They symbolize all that is wrong with this country and I am glad the U.S.S Clinton is sinking, never to return!McCain "08"

Well Chrissy, yes most blame the Republicans for the state the economy is in currently. No we were not doing just fine!!!! Where have you been living if you were doing just fine!! Have you been living under a rock or what? Tell me what you were doing that you were just fine over the past 7 years? How in the world can you even think that things have been just fine? Wake up and come to the world of the working class!! The president is the one that makes the final decision. He also is a big oil man himself. It amazes me daily on the record profits that are posted by the oil companies. Hillary will hold them accountable for the prices of the prices. When the president was a democrate and it was a democrate lead house then our economy was in much better shape and gas was much more affordable. Yes I also personally blame the republicans being in office for the shape our economy is currently in now. Yes I will also be voting for Hillary!!!!

THIS IS NOT A JOKE!! The Obama campaign called my house. I asked several questions. The lady that called me said that she was not proud to be an American either. She also stated that she goes to Reverend Wrights church also, but she does not agree with him even though she is still an active member there. After asking his campaign several questions, they finally said they are wasting their time and hung up on me after they had called me. I then researched and found his churches website. To everyone that is supporting Obama, I challenge you to find the church website. It is www.tccu.org/about, I feel this will change many of your decisions. They appear to be very discriminating against anyone that is not of african skin color. This is scary to think that this man who is involved in this hate group can be our next president. I urge everyone to support Hillary. It is in the best interest of the United States.

I have always told my child how voting is important that she should do so, at her school they take part in this as well give them a slip with the candidate's on them my nine year old is confused who not to vote for ,she said that religion, and that a woman in office is hard for her to choose i feel that if she can understands all of that from reading the paper, watching the news how can we be so sure, when the youth of this country is at stake.

Posted by: Anonymous on May 19, 2008 at 12:02 PM
Same _________ different piles no matter who you vote for. If one candidate accomplishes 1/4 of what they promise it will be a job well done. And why is Obama calling himself an African American when he is mixed race? Tiger Woods doesn't call himself African American!!!!

Posted by: Chrissy Location: Downtown on May 19, 2008 at 11:46 AM
Hey Richmond @6:52 Stop laying the blame on Bush, we were doing just fine in his administartion until the DEMS took over congress 2 years ago! A little blind aren't you? Now we have high gas prices and a recession in the making. Democrats are already wanting to raise taxes all the way around and I can't afford that! Why does Obama call himself an AFRO AMERICAN and play black when he is 1/2 white and never mentions that? Unless you were born in Africa the term AFRO-AMERICAN is total BS! You are just a plain old American if you were born in the USA.

Posted by: Tudor Location: Lexington on May 19, 2008 at 11:41 AM
PLEASE vote for the candidate of your choice on Tuesday, May 20th. I would like to see more promtion in the media to dispel such myths as "if you vote, then you can be called for jury duty". Too many voters still believe this tale.

Obama and Clinton have left Kentucky open to a McCain win in the fall -- Kentucky always seems to go Republican at that time. Too often, we don't vote when we should -- and that's our fault. We have only ourselves to blame for the state of the Union.

Posted by: Anonymous on May 19, 2008 at 10:54 AM
Amy I agree that politics has become very nasty, but it always has been. There is not a politican out there that I think has lead a perfect life. But when voting for the president of the US, I think people do need to think about things such as the persons religion (given Obama's history and what the church he attends for over 20 years says), a persons age (McCain is older and could have serious health issues), or how patriotic a person is (or lack thereof-Obama and his wife not being proud to be Americans). All of these things show how well or how bad they will be as president of the US. Get out and go vote Tuesday. I personally will vote for HILLARY!!

Posted by: Amy Location: KY on May 19, 2008 at 08:02 AM
This country has a long proud history full of dirty poitics, but this is the worst year in my memory. People are ignoring the issues and voting because of race, sex, and (in the case of McCain) age. I want to call on the people of Kentucky to step up and away from the filth in politics. Please vote on Tuesday. Vote for your candidate because of their views on protecting our freedoms, their ideas on healthcare, gun control, or whatever issue is closest to your heart. But PLEASE don't vote out of hate or despise. Let KY be the state that says "We won't play that game anymore!"

Lets think about this for a moment: We have had a republican in office for over 7 years now. What shape is our economy in now? I went to the grocery store yesterday and it has come to putting baby formula behind a locked cabniet, you can no longer pump your gas, go in and get a drink then pay-it is prepay pumps only now. People are having to pick do we eat or do we pay for gas to go to work. Things are not looking good these days people. Don't get me wrong I am not by any means saying to vote for Barack HUSSIEEN Obama I think that would be to give our country over directly to those we are trying to protect it from. I will be going out and voting for Hillary. The other two just scare the crap out of me!!! Especially a man that lets people campaign for him that are not proud to be an American themselves. What is our country coming to these days?

VOTE FOR McCAIN!!!!!!! The lady is a witch and Hussein is a Muslim!!!!! You only get one vote, don't blow it!!!!!

Posted by: Clifford Location: Versailles on May 18, 2008 at 07:03 PM
It scares me when I think of the options for a presidential candidate. It's hard to pick a favorite when all three candidates are much less than perfect.

Posted by: Matt Location: Lexington on May 18, 2008 at 06:51 PM
Still no mention of Ron Paul's rally that drew a crowd of 2,000 on Saturday.

Just a quick note before you go vote on Tuesday: Did you know that one of Obama's supporters called my house the other night and of course was trying to persuade me to vote for him. When I asked her a few questions one of them being about his and his wifes lack of patriotism and how Michelle Obama stating that she was only proud to be an American once in her life she also said she had not been proud to be an American either. To me this is a slap in the face of all the men and women fighting overseas and on the homefront!!!!! Speak up and show how we feel!! Vote for Hillary. We do not want people in office that are not even proud to be an American.

Posted by: KJ Location: Berea on May 18, 2008 at 06:29 PM
If Obama is not prejudice then why on the church website does it state that they are commited to AFRICA-guess what we are in the USA!!! That is why he did not want to wear a flag pin. How many churchs can get away with being geared to the "white" population? Well his church says that they are and it is on the website. All you have to do is go to the church website and you will find it directly on their website. They are not commited to the USA and what is going on here but to Africa!!!! If he is so into the mother country then go to AFRICA and run for President!!!!! The church website is: http://www.tucc.org/about.htm Check it out for yourself.

Is it true that a virgin was sacrificed to the Clinton's in Frankfort.

Posted by: Anonymous on May 18, 2008 at 11:17 AM
If you really knew Hillary Clinton, you wouldn't vote for her. Trust me, I've heard things and the people who said them, well, let's just say things turned out really bad for them (if you catch my drift).

Sen. Barack Obama has recently introduced the Global Poverty Act, which some commentators have said would bankrupt America by giving an additional 0.7 percent of GDP to Third World governments. To be distributed by the United Nations and we know how honest they are.
