Two people were shot at a home in the Little Rock community of Bourbon County, late Monday night. One was pronounced dead on the scene, the other died at UK hospital around noon on Tuesday..

The victims have been identified as 42-year-old Lisa Barker and 46-year-old William Kenney. The two were found inside their home, both with gun shot wounds to the head.

"It's awful, absolutely awful. Stuff like this doesn't happen in a town like this," says Bill Taulbee, a friend of both victims.

Police spent about two hours searching for a suspect who they say ran from the scene after the shooting.

The Paris SWAT team, as well as the Lexington police helicopter assisted in the search.

The SWAT team detained two men, one who neighbors say was the shooter. That man was found after he walked in the back door of a nearby home.

At this time, Kentucky State Police, who are leading the investigation, say they have made no arrests. They say their investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact KSP at 1-800-222-5555 or (859)-428-1212.
