Two men didn't make it very far after Lexington police say one fired a shot at two other men just outside Arby's on South Broadway near Legion Dr.

An off-duty KSP Sergeant was getting food at the drive thru window when he heard the shot and called for help. Two Lexington police officers were also in the parking lot and heard the shot. Seconds later, police say the two men ran right toward the officers who took them to the ground. At first, there was thought to be a victim, but one was never found. The gun was recovered on one of the men.

Both were arrested and charged with wanton endangerment. Police believe the shooting was in retaliation.
