A western Kentucky family is dealing with tragedy after river currents pull a fourteen-year-old boy away from his friends.
Brenton Hooper and his friends were wading through the shallow waters of the Ohio River on Wednesday when a strong current pulled Hooper off his feet and dragged him downstream.
Friends tried to help, but there was nothing they could do. The fourteen-year-old is presumed dead.
His family and friends are now dealing with their loss, as the Coast Guard tries to find his body.
