The case against the Garrard County Fiscal Court over a ten commandments display is over, at least for now. A ruling in 1999 ordered the display be removed.
Court offcials complied. In January 2008, a new display was put up at the courthouse.
The judge executive there says the new display is "educational" and shows the "history" of the commandments.
The U.S. district court dismissed this lawsuit over the original display since it was removed.
