If you drive Interstate 75 in Lexington, you may run into backups as you head to and from work fior the next few weeks.
The state will resume resurfacing work on the interstate on Tuesday.
Construction was supposed to begin Tuesday morning, but weather forced crews to delay their start until 7 o'clock tonight.
The southbound lanes between mile markers 118 to 112 will be down to two lanes during the day and one lane overnight.
The work is between the northern and southern splits of I-75 and I-64. The speed limit is down to 55 miles an hour in the construction zone.
The state says it hopes to have the work done before the Fourth of July holiday.
