Bands of light snow are working across the region. These can put down some light accumulations on the grass and elevated surfaces.
A jury is seated and opening arguments are underway in the Harrison County trial of a man accused of shooting his estranged wife.
Police say Larry Willis shot his wife, Ruby, last August. Investigators say she returned to their Cynthiana home to pick up some belongings, days after filing for divorce from Willis when she was shot. Ruby was shot in the head, neck and stomach leaving her seriously injured.
The trial is expected to take three days. Willis stands charged with attempted murder and assault.
