Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

A northern Kentucky man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a pick-up truck.
It happened just before eight last night along Highway 14 near Verona that's in Boone County. Police say a 37-year-old motorcyclist crossed the center line and hit the truck head-on.
He died at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
The victim's name has not been released police say speed may have played a role in the crash.

I'm a motorcycle rider coach and I preach helmets and all the gear all the time. More than 90 percent of the fatalities are head injuries...hmmm....WEAR A HELMET!

Gale, helmet or no helmet, in most cases if you go down on the bike you are history anyway. Not many people make it from a motorcycle accident if they are traveling at any rate of speed. The family and friends of the family will be in my thoughts and prayers!

I think it was a BAD idea to change the hemlet law ...Common sense tells you to wear a hemlet.
