A major winter storm is on the way to the bluegrass state. Local high water issues are possible early Wednesday and that will be followed up by heavy snow and sleet. Significant accumulations are likely Wednesday night and Thursday.
Police in Southern Kentucky are investigating a deadly shooting.
It happened late Tuesday night near the Rockholds community in Whitley County.
Police and the coroner were called to a home on Henry Barton Road. Investigators found 36-year old Jesse Graves dead.
Police say 28-year old Richard T. Adams of London shot him after an argument. At this point investigators think it had something to do with a woman who was inside the home.
At the time of the shooting, police say there were two women and a two-year old child also inside. One woman and the child were taken to the hospital for treatment, though we're not sure what their injuries were.
Adams is charged with murder. He's being held in the Whitley County Detention Center.
Investigators also think drugs and/or alcohol played a factor in the shooting.
