Department of Corrections spokeswoman Lisa Lamb says all of
those released had previously been on probation or parole but
returned to prison after minor violations of the terms of their
Inmates who were returned to prison for committing new felonies
are not eligible.
A released inmate will receive time-served credit equal to the
time they were on probation and parole. The credit is applied only
to inmates whose probation or parole was revoked for minor
violations, such as failing to report to a probation officer.
