Paris Murder Scene to be Transformed Into Memorial for Child

By  |

With the help of an anonymous donor, the property where 6-year old Wesley Mullins was murdered last August will be bulldozed and a new office building will be built.

Mullins was found dead in the garage behind his grandfather's home on Main street. Recently, an anonymous person in Bourbon county bought the house and two others next door with the intention of building a memorial for Wesley.

Others in the community quickly jumped on board and demolition will begin Wednesday for Wesley's Place, an office building that will provide community services to help with domestic violence and child abuse.

Organizers are asking for any kind of support. They say so far they have raised fifty thousand dollars and are hoping to raise another one hundred and twenty five thousand to finish the building. They could also use building supplies or labor.
