FALMOUTH, Ky. (AP) - A published report said northern Kentucky prosecutors plan to present evidence to a grand jury next month in a crash between a school bus and a dump truck that killed a teenager.

The Enquirer's Kentucky editions reported Friday the case will go to a Pendleton County grand jury July 23.

Prosecutors had planned to take the case to the panel this month.

On May 1, a dump truck owned by XXL Trucking crashed into a school bus near Falmouth. Sixteen-year-old Daniel Wood was killed. Also, 10 students and both drivers were injured.

Police have ruled out drugs and alcohol as potential factors.

The grand jury will determine whether criminal charges are warranted.

Wood's family has filed a lawsuit alleging negligence by the trucking company and the dump truck driver.
