Bands of light snow are working across the region. These can put down some light accumulations on the grass and elevated surfaces.
CADIZ, KY -- In what may well be aother sign of a faltering economy, workers at a flatbed trailer factory in Western Kentucky might soon be out of jobs, reports the Lexington Herald-Leader in its Sunday edition.
Benson International says it will close the 78-employee plant at Cadiz by August unless a buyer is found.
President Donnie Holland told his workers the company will do everything possible to keep the plant open. Holland said there's enough work to keep the employees busy at full pay and benefits for two months, reports the Herald-Leader.
Holland said parent company International Industries is getting out of the trailer business and will close the factory if a sale or merger doesn't occur, reports the Lexington Herald-Leader.
