Lexington Police: Woman abused 4-year-old child

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman faces charges after police say she abused a child.

Lexington Police arrested 30-year-old Ebonie Washington Friday afternoon at Next Generation Daycare on Industry Road.

The arrest came after an investigation by police and social services.

Police say the victim was four years old.

Police have charged Washington with first degree criminal abuse. She's been lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.

So far, police have not released any other details about the investigation.
