Three Killed When Pickup Trucks Collide

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (AP) - Three people have been killed in a
central Kentucky crash involving two pickup trucks.
Kentucky State Police said the crash occurred Monday night in
Hopkins County, killing two women and a boy.
The accident report states a full-size pickup crossed the center line of Kentucky Route 109 just north of Dawson Springs and struck a compact pickup head-on.
All three deaths came in the smaller truck.
Police identify the dead as 34-year-old Penny Garrison, 64-year-old Beverly Lopez and 12-year-old Jordan Duke.
Garrison and Duke were from Dawson Springs. Lopez was from St.
Eight-year-old Ethan Garrison, who was also in the compact truck, was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
The driver of the larger truck, Meagan Gibbs of White Plains, and 1-year-old Avery Gibbs were taken to Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
