Police: 23 pounds of marijuana found during traffic stop

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - What police say started as a traffic stop soon led to a major drug bust along Interstate 75.

Kentucky State Police say they seized around 23 pounds of marijuana Monday afternoon from a car they pulled over in Scott County.

Police say a trooper pulled over 22-year-old Jordan Robinson, of Cincinnati, for speeding.

Police say the trooper then smelled marijuana coming from the car and that led to the discovery.

Robinson was arrested and charged with marijuana trafficking and speeding.
