There were some frightening moments for people staying at a Pulaski County motel on Thursday morning, after a fire broke out nearby.
Firefighters were called to the Economy Inn in Somerset, just after one in the morning. When they arrived, they found a storage building, adjacent to the motel, engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the motel itself. No one was hurt.
Now, investigators are trying to figure out what caused the fire.
The building was used to store mattresses, furniture and other items for the motel. It's now considered a total loss.
