The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
Work is underway in Louisville on Thursday afternoon to salvage two sunken barges in the Ohio River.
The barges have been in the river since last Friday.
According to the Courier-Journal, crews have to unload all the cargo on the barges first, before they can be raised.
A crane will then be used to pull up the barges. The entire process is expected to take more than a week.
