Bands of light snow are working across the region. These can put down some light accumulations on the grass and elevated surfaces.
A scare for a driver and a Lexington gas station clerk when a car crashed into the gas station.
It happened around 7:30pm Sunday at the Shell station on Towne Center Drive. Firefighters say the driver's foot slipped off the brake and accidentally hit the gas pedal.
That caused the car to jump the sidewalk and break through some glass. No one was hurt, but the driver was very shaken up.
The firefighters say it doesn't look like the building's structure was damaged, there's just a lot of broken glass to clean up.
