DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police have arrested two central Kentucky men in the fatal shooting of a woman who had been charged in connection to a man's death last year.

Danville Police Chief Tony Gray told The Advocate-Messenger that 29-year-old Melissa Jean Luna-White died Wednesday after being shot in the doorway of her home.

He said officers have arrested 27-year-old Lamar M. Stallworth and 23-year-old David J. Harlan. He said Stallworth is charged with murder, burglary and wanton endangerment; Harlan is charged with complicity. Jail records don't show whether the men have attorneys.

Luna-White was facing a charge of tampering with evidence in the death of 27-year-old Michael Begley Jr. of Richmond. Her husband, 25-year-old Jordan Montez White, is charged with reckless homicide in the death.

Gray said police are investigating to see if the cases are connected.
